Well we have had a bit of hard luck.

I was looking forward to getting busy with our new lines and unfortunately we have had a major set back!

I need to redo the surgery, I go into the hospital on Friday morning and they get to do a redo on the ankle.

Unfortunately the ankle rolled over and is not healing correctly.

So I will be off of the foot another 4-5 months.

I will keep you all up to speed with my recovery.

Wow things are hopping here at RJD! We just signed on with the guys at Robe.

They have some awesome lighting products.

We are currently working on getting some demos of their new cutting edge LED fixtures and moving lights that use some great new technology.

Well we have been busy here at RJD!

I have a few new lines to add to the family.

We are now dealers for Lehigh Electric.

We have just installed a Rendition 48/96 control console into Morinville Community High School.

We are now also stocking Stage Junk tools.

These are very cool tools that should be in every technician's tool box!

RJD is also stocking color filters, tape and lamps.

Leviton, LDI, and an Accident.

Well a lot has happened over the last couple of months I went to Portland Oregon for a week to Leviton Lighting Controls Div. and received training to be a service center for the Canadian prairie region this area includes Alberta Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

After that I continued on down to Las Vegas to LDI I missed the Friday and it was a mad scramble to talk to suppliers and look at what is new coming out this year. I will have more on that later.

And now the bad part I was involved in a bad head on collision and severly broke my ankle, leg and a couple of ribs. But the good part is I am ok other then that. But it has slowed me down a bit I am not allowed to put any weight on the leg for 3 months.

Well what happened to the last week..

I am taking Monday to decompress and am getting ready to head out to LDI in Las Vegas.

For those of you who don't know LDI is one of the biggest entertainment technology shows in north America, it often shows what suppliers will be releasing over the next year.

if anyone wants me to take a look for anything specific please e-mail me and I will take a look for you.

I hope to have some great RJD company news to share with everyone in the next couple of weeks or so.

CITT Alberta Edmonton Jubilee Auditorium Tour October 4, 2010.

Members are going to get a backstage tour of the Jubilee Auditorium at 5:30 with a gathering at Avenue Pizza after the tour.

Come on out and join us and enjoy catching up with friends.

Wow ! had a great tour of the Jubilee Theatre.

also got a chance to meet up with friends after for a drink and pizza.

It would be great to see more peeps come out for the pub night next month.

Montreal based Theatrixx was in Edmonton at the Winspear showing their product line of Power Distribution, LED Fixtures, LED Video Wall and Sound Systems.

I enjoyed looking at all the products and meeting new friends.
